Things here in litte ol Bayonne

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since I’ve written the big email, it feels like. But it’s great to be able to send one to you now!

This week, one of our friends, Eva, from Latvia, got baptised! She really is one of the most amazing people in the world. It was an honor to get to be there for her baptism. She had been going to church every day for the past two years ever since one of her friends from Latvia introduced her to it.

During the beginning of church yesterday, she hadn’t arrived yet, so we just kept looking for her every once and a while. But then, halfway through, her and her family and friends just came in. There were so many of them that came to support her! It touched me so much. I love seeing when families and friends support those they love.

And the baptism was just so filled with love, too. There were so many people that came to see it.

I love being here on a mission and with these people.

This week, we’ll be hearing whether we will leave or stay in our cities. I can’t tell what’s going to happen, but I would love to stay here for another six weeks!

Spring is coming! I love you all!
